About Us

Our Founders

Built by people who kept seeing the same gap in behavioral health care — and decided to close it.

How Mojave Started

Mojave Complete Recovery grew out of the same observation that shaped Complete Rehab Queen Creek: patients kept getting one piece of their care addressed while the rest went untreated.

In behavioral health and addiction treatment, that gap is especially dangerous — a patient might get medication for opioid use disorder but no counseling to address what drove the addiction, or therapy for anxiety with no coordination with the physician managing their physical health.

Mojave was built to close that gap directly, combining medication-assisted treatment, counseling, psychiatry, and primary care into one coordinated program instead of a set of disconnected referrals.

Chris Hargrave

Chris co-founded Mojave Complete Recovery alongside his wife, Erica. Before healthcare, Chris served in the Air Force, worked in law enforcement, and spent time as an ARFF firefighter, HazMat technician, and EMT — work that put him in direct, repeated contact with people at the most difficult moments of their lives, including addiction, trauma, and crisis. That background shapes how Mojave approaches care: healing and recovery are treated as an ongoing, adaptive process — building the capacity to handle life differently — rather than a single fix or a finish line to cross.

Chris is also a co-founder of Complete Rehab Queen Creek, and stays closely connected to the first responder community he came from.
